REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET
Operation
When installation is complete, the remote handset can be used to select from up to four lighting scenarios, switch any four lights on and off, dim the scenarios and lights, and even use the “master off” function to switch all the lights off.
Home master
The various Vitrum elements communicate between themselves wirelessly, so there is no need for an ‘internal bus’ to link them.
The Home Master remote handset performs two functions.
Configuration
Having installed the Vitrum system, in just a few seconds you can create all the switch-on configurations for all light settings by defining the number of lights to be controlled by each glass touch-switch. In traditional systems, this would have necessitated the use of hard-wired mains wiring. Using Vitrum, the procedure is totally flexible, and the end-user can opt for the preferred switch-on configuration independently of the electrical connections laid out by the installing electrician.
Configuration of the switch-on logic does not require the intervention of a specialist electrician.
